GDS Students ready for World Dance Masters in Croatia

Five of Gauteng Dance Studios students entered the ESDU Dancestar Africa open in February 2012 and all five qualified for the ESDU World Dance Masters 2012 which will be held at Porec Croatia from 15 to 20 May 2012.
The GDS team which consists of Tenicke Els, Madelein Smit, Leandri Greyling, Gretchke Schoeman, Cristabelle Stapelberg and GDS Principal and head teacher Isabel Stapelberg will join 30 other to represent South Africa at the World Dance Masters.
The ESDU Dancestar World Dance Masters puts great emphasis on dance education and the sharing of cultures between international dancers. More than 4000 dancers from all over the world will participate on the event and will show their fabulous dance choreographies. Excitement, joy, passion, sweat, tears, friendship, love, happiness & dance will overwhelm the beautiful Laguna Resort. Amazing awards, great seminars, fabulous StarNight, international ESDU judges, two modern events halls, two events (the Great Finals & StarNight), parties & so much more...

Top Junior Female Dancer - 2011 Dance Art Festival

Congratulations to Robynne Scheepers from Gauteng Dance Studios who was chosen as the Top Junior Female Dancer at this year's Dance Art Festival (2011) held at the Pretoria Show Grounds.
Over 1,500 students attended the festival and Gauteng Dance Studios achieved outstanding results, which is testament to the dedication and professionalism of the teachers and students at all the Gauteng Dance Studios branches.
