The Dance Art Festival is one of the largest dance festivals in the Gauteng region with more than a thousand competing dancers spanning over two weeks and has been running for over 15 years. The festival accommodates dancers from beginners to advanced in either solo, duet, quartet or groups.
Dance styles include Ballet, Modern, Disco Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Acrobatics, Hip Hop and more.
Students of Gauteng Dance Studios are required to take part in the festival every year.
* Inge Breytenbach a student from Gauteng Dance Studios received the throphy for overall top Junior Female Dancer at the 2010 Dance Art Festival. * Robynne Scheepers a student from Gauteng Dance Studios received the throphy for overall top Junior Female Dancer at the 2011 Dance Art Festival.
Gauteng Dance Studios students take pride in there performances and obtain excellent marks at the festival.
